The Salvagnini fiber laser "L5" is a machine specialized in fiber technology. A patented mechanical drive system composed of a compass structure, made possible by the absence of a fixed optical path, is a major feature of the L5. This structure is driven by a pair of rotary motors, and due to its lightweight design, the cutting head can move a distance of 170mm in both the X and Y directions with a maximum acceleration of 5G while consuming extremely low power.
